Art is perhaps one of the few ‘universal’ languages that all of us human beings share and understand.. This understanding and affinity is essential if change, transformation and healing of oneself and society is to begin.  Although a universal language, art can still honour and respect local cultures and can tolerate and hold differences of perspectives; for though we human beings, men and women inhabiting earth, may have a lot of common, we still have our differences. In spite of our great achievements in science, technology and industry, we are incapable of dealing with the great evils that endanger our very existence, evils such as war, colonization, slavery, poverty and, most importantly, ignorance.....
