PCC Launches Summer Camps for Children and Youth

Jerusalem  -replique montres The Palestinian Counseling Center has launched 7 summer camps for children and young people in Jerusalem, Nablus and Jenin.

The camps are operated through the PCC’s centers by its Child Protection Program. Hosting  a total of 180 children and youth between the ages of 8-14, the replique montre rolexsummer activities target those most vulnerable to violence and from the most marginalized areas of the community. The programs seek to teach participants skills in protection, self-affirmation, and self-expression.

Mohammed Abu Tayeh, Copie Montre Suisse14 years old and in the 9th grade, is a participant in the Jerusalem camp. He remarked on how the puppetry games have been most impactful for him, explaining:

“We made a puppet show about violence and my role was to say with the puppet, ‘if someone hits you, you should tell your father and not hide It.’ We were taught that if replique montre de luxewe are abused, we should tell our parents and not keep it a secret.”

 The PCC has also begun to implement two educational camps for children, ages 6-12 years old, who suffer from dyslexia in Jerusalem and Nablus. 35 participants are included within the programs, which focus on developing skill sets in the subjects of Arabic, arithmetic, and basic life skillreplique montre rolex pas chers.  

The PCC’s Youth Program is likewise hosting day camps in both Jerusalem and Nablus, with the participation of 60 young people between 15-19 years old. Activities at these camps are primarily focused on relationship-building between participants, self-expression, acceptance of others, and development changes.
